డిశెంబర్ వచ్చిందంటే, పిల్లలకు Toys కొనాల్సిన గొడవ ఎప్పుడూ ఉండేదే, ఎటూ క్రిస్టమస్ మేము చేసుకోము కాబట్టి, క్రిస్టమస్ ముందే, పిల్లలను Toys R Us కు తీసుకెళ్లి వాళ్లకు కొంత బడ్జెట్ పెట్టి కావాల్సినవి కొనుక్కొమని చెప్పటం ఒకటి రెండు ఏళ్ల నుండి ఆనవాయితి అయ్యింది. ఈ సంవత్సరం మేము వెళ్లిన రోజు 12/11/2010, వెళ్లిన షాపు పెద్ద సంత లాగా ఉండి, paarking కూడా దొరకని పరిస్థితి కాబట్టి, చిరాకుతో పిల్లలను వాళ్ల అమ్మతో లోపలికి పొమ్మని చెప్పి, చేతిలో ఉన్న కెమారా తో, ఆకాశం వైపు తిప్పి (ఎటు తిప్పినది ఫొటో ల కింద ఉంది), కారులోనే heater వేసుకొని మురికిపట్టిన కారు అద్దాల లోపలనుండే నుండే, తీసినవి.
చిత్రాలలో మచ్చలు అక్కడక్కడ కనిపిస్తే అవి నా కారు అద్దాల మరకలు అనుకోవాల్సిందే :)
పై చిత్రం canon 20D, canon 100MM 2.8 lens, f5.6, 1/20 sec canon 20D కెమెరా లో, మనము చూసే దానికంటే కాస్త ఎక్కువే చిత్రం లో వస్తుంది కాబట్టి, ఎడమ ప్రక్క క్రిందన paarking lot లోని, flood lights వచ్చాయి, తీసినప్పుడు view finder లో అవి కనపడలేదు :(. reference point గా ఉంటాయి అని వాటిని అలానే వదిలేసాను crop చేయకుండా!! (West Side Sky)
పై చిత్రం canon 20D, canon 100MM 2.8 lens, f2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO 400, west side sky f 2.8 వాడటం వలన దాదాపు అన్ని ఆకులు రాలుతున్న చెట్టు sharpness బాగా వచ్చిందేమో అనిపించింది. దాదాపు light అంటూ పెద్దగా ఎమీ లేదు అప్పటికే!!
పై చిత్రం canon 20D, canon 100MM 2.8 lens, f2.8, 1/3 sec, ISO 100, East Side sky f 2.8 వాడినా పెద్దగా sharp గా ఇది నాకనిపించలేదు, ఒకటి east side sky కాబట్టి పెద్దగా లిఘ్త్ లేకపోవటం (అప్పటికే సూర్యాస్తమయం అవటం వలన), రెండవది iso ఏ 400 లో, వాడకుండా, 100 వాడటం వలన కూడా ఇది రావాల్సినంత బా రాలేదేమో మరి, ఎవరయినా చెప్పాలి.
పై చిత్రం canon 20D, canon 100MM 2.8 lens, f2.8, 1/4 sec, ISO 100, South Side sky obvious గా shooping చేసిన తరువాత dinner తిందాము అనుకొన్న restaurent ఇది అదే paarking lot లోనిది. కాకపోతే background South Side Sky.
చివరగా, కెమేరాలు కొనేది ఎక్కువ, ఫొటోలు తీసేది తక్కువ అయిన నేను, నా ఫొటోలు పెట్టేది, ఒకటి నా life ను ఫొటోల రూపం లో గుర్తుపెట్టుకొందాము అని, రెండవది ఎవరయినా తప్పులు చెబితే constructive గా నేర్చుకొందాము అని.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. Yes, it is a macro lens, I got it along with the MR-14EX macro ring flash for macro photography.
It is really a good potrait (head shots) lens too.
Wow..wonderful lens to own.. Does it have Image Stabilization? if not, you need to use tripod otherwise your images will get shake.
ReplyDeleteLike I said earlier, you can get extreme close up shots of any object. Try it on Flowers/vegies or any interesting object, you can get upto 1 foot closer and take some really breath taking shots.
Don't try to take landscape pictures with that lens...I mean you can do, but I personaly prefer to shoot landscape with a kit lens 28-135 mm or 55 - 250 mm.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, it is not meant for landscapes. But I had to use it because of low light and having no tripod.
This lens I bought 5 years back along with 20D. They have recently released this as IS "L" series lens. But one has to spend almost double the money for the IS, L lens though.
For me 100mm 2.8 usm is better value one, compare to IS L series lens.
